I usually use Vox to post personal stuff, and carpeaqua to post nerdery. With the insane schedule I've kept over the past few months, putting updates on either site has been a taxing situation.
Second Gear
Stuff has been going really well with Second Gear. Client work seems steady, and I usually don't have too much free time. I'm trying to shift the company into a bit of a different direction to fit my changing personality. Besides doing development, I've also planning on expanding my publishing empire to add another site in the future.
It's Evansville has been a fun experiment to write, and I'd like to expand the idea out to another city in the future. That said, I'd also like to find someone to handle the ad sales on both of the sites, because I am not a saleman whatsoever, and my schedule doesn't really allow for cold sales calls.
Book
Work is wrapping up on my Mac OS X Leopard book. The 14 month process has been one of the most trying experiences I've ever been a part of. I'll be glad when it (and Mac OS X Leopard) are released, so I can move on to another project. At this stage, I don't think I'll ever write another published book unless its a self-publishing type deal. There's something to be said for having fewer hands in the process, and that's what I like about writing online.
Moving
Now that business is pretty stable, I've been scouting out apartments. I've almost made my mind up that staying in Evansville isn't for me. I've lived her my entire life and want to try something different. I've seen and done everything this town has to offer, and there's something inviting about moving to a completely foreign location. I'm still leaning towards moving to Nashville, but I need to find somewhere to live, and finish getting some financial things behind me. My personal goal is to find somewhere and be moved in during Q1 of 2008.
